In&nbsp;the&nbsp;fall&nbsp;of&nbsp;2017,&nbsp;Abi&nbsp;moved&nbsp;from&nbsp;Puerto&nbsp;Rico,&nbsp;away&nbsp;from&nbsp;his&nbsp;beautiful&nbsp;island&nbsp;nation&nbsp;and&nbsp;family,&nbsp;to&nbsp;study&nbsp;Materials&nbsp;Science&nbsp;at&nbsp;the&nbsp;University&nbsp;of&nbsp;Maryland.&nbsp;At&nbsp;orientation,&nbsp;he&nbsp;complimented&nbsp;Becca's&nbsp;dress.&nbsp;They&nbsp;both&nbsp;carried&nbsp;a&nbsp;camera&nbsp;and&nbsp;rode&nbsp;their&nbsp;bikes&nbsp;around.&nbsp;They&nbsp;would&nbsp;work&nbsp;on&nbsp;homework&nbsp;together&nbsp;with&nbsp;their&nbsp;other&nbsp;classmates&nbsp;and&nbsp;commiserate&nbsp;on&nbsp;the&nbsp;difficulty&nbsp;of&nbsp;grad&nbsp;school. The&nbsp;fall&nbsp;semester&nbsp;of&nbsp;2018,&nbsp;they&nbsp;both&nbsp;had&nbsp;to&nbsp;retake&nbsp;Thermodynamics&nbsp;of&nbsp;Materials&nbsp;and&nbsp;had&nbsp;to&nbsp;retake&nbsp;it&nbsp;(thanks&nbsp;Rabin!).&nbsp;This&nbsp;started&nbsp;a&nbsp;lot&nbsp;more&nbsp;one&nbsp;on&nbsp;one&nbsp;homework&nbsp;time,&nbsp;meeting&nbsp;up&nbsp;after&nbsp;class&nbsp;and&nbsp;staying&nbsp;up&nbsp;late&nbsp;together,&nbsp;even&nbsp;if&nbsp;there&nbsp;wasn't&nbsp;any&nbsp;homework&nbsp;being&nbsp;done.&nbsp;Becca&nbsp;would&nbsp;invite&nbsp;him&nbsp;to&nbsp;hang&nbsp;out&nbsp;with&nbsp;her&nbsp;girlfriends&nbsp;in&nbsp;DC&nbsp;to&nbsp;go&nbsp;dancing.&nbsp;Abi&nbsp;would&nbsp;slip&nbsp;notes&nbsp;in&nbsp;Becca's&nbsp;backpack. In&nbsp;the&nbsp;summer&nbsp;of&nbsp;2019,&nbsp;Abi&nbsp;couldn't&nbsp;hold&nbsp;it&nbsp;in&nbsp;any&nbsp;longer!&nbsp;He&nbsp;told&nbsp;her&nbsp;that&nbsp;he&nbsp;likes&nbsp;her&nbsp;and&nbsp;that&nbsp;he&nbsp;could&nbsp;see&nbsp;himself&nbsp;spending&nbsp;the&nbsp;rest&nbsp;of&nbsp;his&nbsp;life&nbsp;with&nbsp;her.&nbsp;Becca&nbsp;said,&nbsp;"finally!&nbsp;Kiss&nbsp;me!" There are many beautiful guest homes and boutique hotels in San Juan all within a 10-min-Uber-ride radius. We especially recommend either Old San Juan for the historic sites, Candado if you're fancy, and Santurce or Ocean Park for a hipster vibe.

You'll likely get the best price at boutique hotels and houses for rent. The bride's family will be staying in a rented house in the historic district.
